Zero Liquid Discharge: Market Dynamics and Technology Trends in Brine Concentrate Management
Recorded on Thursday, January 31, 2013:
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST;
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM GMT
BlueTech Research and B2Bwebinars.net are pleased to announce the details of the next interactive web conference in the BlueTech® Research Webinar Series on Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD). The webinar will be held on January 31st, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST; 4:00 – 5:30 PM GMT.
Although often used to describe a technology consisting of an evaporator and a crystallizer, ZLD is a term that represents a goal. Brine management was a major buzz topic at Singapore International Water Week and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) is an example of the extreme end of the brine management spectrum in which the brine is reduced down to a solid waste. There are multiple ways of achieving ZLD, with varying costs and complexity. As disposal of brine concentrate from water and wastewater treatment facilities becomes increasingly challenging, ZLD and high-recovery technology is expected to see increasing adoption. Most installed ZLD systems are in industrial applications but there is also the potential for use in seawater and brackish water desalination, particularly at inland desalination plants treating brackish groundwater.
The webinar will bring together ZLD technology experts to discuss benefits, drawbacks, and market niche for ZLD technology. The current status of system designs will be reviewed and there will be presentations of the different approaches being taken. Various drivers for the adoption of ZLD technology will be explored. Finally, there will be a discussion of prospects, highlighting research needs, new applications, and commercial opportunities. The webinar will include a Q&A session to address specific questions from participants.

BlueTech Research Webinar Series
BlueTech Research webinars to highlight key opportunities and emerging trends in water technologies. Each webinar will bring together leading experts and water technology companies. The webinars will focus on the business and market opportunity for these innovative solutions.
The series will be of interest to venture capital investors, water technology companies, regulators and end users. We will show how the drivers for change are reshaping our water system and how companies that are at the leading edge of these trends will be positioned to be part of a new, smarter, more efficient water system.

How It Works
Single Connection: $245.00
Additional Connection at the same Organization: $150.00
A site connection allows a single connection to the web conference. That connection is open to any number of users in a collaborative setting. Because there are no travel expenses and only a single registration fee is required, each additional participant lowers the cost per participant significantly.
By purchasing a site connection, you can invite as many people as you would like to view and participate in the session from a single location. Set up the session in a conference room and project the presentation and chat on a large screen. You also have rights to distribute copies of the presentation materials to everyone involved. Please note that audio is received via the phone line and must be broadcast to your group.
If for any reason a relevant stakeholder cannot co-locate for the session, we encourage you to include that person by purchasing an additional connection at the reduced fee of $150 per session. This will ensure that every member of a team receives the same relevant, timely information in the most efficient way. If you have any technical or purchasing questions, please contact us at (818) 888-4444.
CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & CREDITS
Should you be unable to attend, a refund, less a $50 administrative charge, will be made for cancellations received via letter or fax at least 3 working days before the event. We regret cancellations will not be accepted after that date. However, we will be pleased to transfer your registration to another member of your company or credit the registration fee to another Infocast conference if you register within 6 months from the date of this conference. In the event the conference is canceled, Infocast’s liability is limited to the refund of the conference registration fee only.
